Two rim sherds and four body sherds of a wheel-thrown ceramic vessel of Medieval date. Possibly part of a Saintonge Ware pitcher. Length 78mm, width 82mm and thickness of body 7mm. Weight 107.71g. The sherds all belong to the same vessel and the fine fabric is buff coloured with a grey inner core. The larger of the sherds forms 9% of the circumference of the rim and also part of the "strap" handle. The diameter of the rim can be estimated to have been about 180mm.
