Pottery sherd: about 20% of the rim of a Dressel 20 olive oil amphora. There are at least five vertical cuts in the outer edge of the rim which are probably a grafitto relating to the use/re-use of the vessel; although the surface has recent damage there also appears to be some deliberate post-breakage wear or smoothing below the rim.
