A gold, uninscribed, Iron Age quarter stater, probably of Gallo-Belgic D / ‘Boat Tree’ type, dating to the period c.80-60 BC. Obverse: Boat with two occupants? An incomplete gold finger ring (Henig II/ Guiraud type 2A) of Roman date (c. 43-200).  Description: The ring is broken at the narrowest part of the hoop, opposite the bezel, and is misshapen. The hoop is pointed oval in cross section, thickening and widening gradually towards the shoulders which merge to create the bezel. The bezel has an oval recess for a now missing setting.
