Early Medieval Copper alloy pin, 21mm long, 8mm in diameter and weighing 2.20g. It has an incomplete circular-sectioned shaft, with a hint of a raised collar around its centre at the top. The head is bi-conical with a median band. The collar suggests a middle Anglo-Saxon date, 8th or 9th century.

Early medieval gilt copper alloy saucer brooch, 500-600AD. The brooch is 33mm in diameter and 3mm thick. The front of the brooch has a band of disjointed Style I animals around a central boss, and is flat with a raised lip forming the characteristic 'saucer' shape. The reverse is undecorated and a projecting pin housing or part of a catch-plate remains. Close to where the other part of the pin attachment would have been, the object has a very regular circular hole pierced through, midway between the centre and the edge; this is probably a repair. Late Roman to early Early medieval cast copper alloy military belt buckle fragment of Hawkes and Dunning Type IB. The object consists of part of the buckle frame, in the form of two dolphin meeting mouth to mouth, with two horses' heads emerging from the backs of the dolphins. The buckle was produced in an open cast, and C-shaped scale details were then punched onto the bodies of the fish and a row of Cs representing a dorsal fin onto the base of the horse heads. Roman silver finger ring fragment, 20mm long and 7mm wide. The object weighs 0.86grams and is in fair condition. The ring consists of a circular raised bezel which is flanked by two sub triangular shoulders which have an incised border running up to the circle. The shape roughly fits Henig type VIII. There is a small circular depression in the centre of the bezel which is surrounded by linear scratches which appear to be damage

The head is narrower and slightly flattened, with two flat wings and two loops, one of which is incomplete. The catchplate is incomplete and the hinge is missing. The object is in fair condition with a dark brown patina, and is 37mm long, 7m wide, 13mm thick and weighs 3.91g.

Roman copper alloy bow brooch, a Colchester derivative, Harlow brooch dating to the first century. The body of the brooch is circular in section, there is a ridge over the head, two flat wings and the remains of a large catchplate. There is a single loop at the back of the head which would have received the hinge, and simple linear decoration on the foot. The hinge and part of the catchplate are missing. The object is in fair condition with a dark green patina. It is 44mm long, 11mm wide at the wings and 19mm thick and weighs 7.29g.
