An incomplete lead steelyard weight of Roman date (c. AD 43 - 410). The weight is biconical in form, the top of the weight tapering to a point, the bottom more rounded. The remains of the iron rod is present at the centre of the top, probably the remains of a suspension loop. There are no markings.
