A fragment of a Medieval silver gilt annular brooch. A small segment of a brooch with alternating knops and recesses. A single complete knop flanked by the edges of the neighbouring recesses is all that remains. The knop is circular and domed and is decorated with ring stamping over the whole surface. What remains of the recesses appear also to be circular and would originally have held stones of some type. The front retains much of its gilding, although there is some wear on the top of the knop. A copper alloy pen Medieval date. A cast copper-alloy pen with a lozenge faceted and twisted shaft. The shaft narrows into a plain, circular sectioned length at the distal end and and terminates in a rounded knop. There is a similar plain, narrow section between the faceted decoration and the lanceolate end. The lanceolate end has four curving, flat foils and tapers to a point. The shaft has been bent. Part of a silver toothpick\earscoop of 16th to 17th century date. Both the ends are missing. The remnant of the pick is in the shape of a talon emerging from the bird' toe. The toe is etched with lines to imitate skin. The other end of this element enters a plant bud comprising two leaves with etched line detail. Behind this are two moulded ridges forming a collar from which projects the oval sectioned shaft of the earscoop. Midway along the object is a circular suspension loop. Copper alloy finger ring, perhaps medieval. 19mm in diameter and weighing 0.99g. The ring is in fair condition with a golden patina (the object is a beach find, which may explain its condition). Its loop has an oval section and it has a sub-oval bezel decorated with an abstract pattern divided into two down its centre. One side is made up of diagonal incised lines and the other is made up of what looks like three Vs, the central one placed the opposite way round to form a pattern.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman lugged disc plate brooch dating t 100-200 AD. Only the pin is missing. A hinged pin would have been attached to a loop on the back of the disc. Around the disc is a plate with a deeply notched, scalloped edge and ring and dot decoration. The disc is raised forward from this plate, so that there is a circular hollow at the back. A Medieval pendant set with an intaglio of green stone. The mount frames the stone leaving the reverse exposed. On the front are inscribed the words "+: A: +: G: +: L: +: A:" "AGLA" was a popular amuletic charm in the Middle Ages. It signifies "ATHE GEBIR LEILAN ADONI" "(Thou Art Mighty For Ever, Oh Lord"). The charm was invoked to prevent fever. The reverse of the mount has scalloped edging. The stone is exposed deliberately to provide contact between it and the skin of the wearer. Hawking rings record the owner's name and sometimes their placeof residence, and were attached to the leather jesses on the birds legs which attached the bird to the block. A late Medieval dress fitting, lozenge-shaped, with a sphere attached to each corner and a central collet set with a pale pink stone. Two of the corners have been bent out of shape. The surface is decorated with roughly incised lines and the edges are serrated. On the reverse are the remains of two stitching bars. The dress fitting is silver-gilt apart from the spheres, which are plain silver and possibly intended to simulate pearls. The object dates from the late fifteenth century.

A cast copper-alloy bar mount (strap-fitting) of medieval date, c. 14th century. The mount has three consecutive lobes with the copper-alloy rivets still attached to the outer lobes. The lobes are convex on the front with only the larger central lobe concave on its reverse.The two smaller lobes appear countersunk to accept the rivet . Decoration is restricted to the central lobe and consists of three raised linear bands created by four transverse grooves; they are centrally placed. A cast copper rotary key. The terminal of the key is trilobate with a circular aperture at the end on each lobe. There is also a small, rounded knop on the outer edge of each lobe. Fragment of the bowl from a cast copper-alloy spoon dating to the first to fourth century AD. The upper part of the bowl survives, the rest of the bowl and handle are lost to old breaks. The bowl is mandolin shaped with a narrow neck at the top widening into an oval bowl. The bowl is shallow with a flattened rim.
