FIND OF COINS, RHOS-ON-SEA (Wales 11.03)
On 2 February 2011, Mr XXX reported to the Portable Antiquities Scheme (Peter Reavill, Finds Liaison Officer for Herefordshire and Shropshire) the finding of two coins on the foreshore at Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy. The coins, provisionally identified by the undersigned on the basis of scanned images, were transferred to Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales, for formal identification and a report to H.M. Coroner.
Circumstances of Discovery
The coins were found with the aid of a metal detector on the foreshore (NGR given on the Receipt Form).
