Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type 4.l.c. Pl 49. This has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that hold the axis bar, the spring is made from eleven curls, but the pin is missing. Surmounting the head is a tall decorative knop with a column base and spherical top, the remainder of the head is undecorated. The bow is made from a flat rectangular arch which has three groves adorning the face. The lower part of the bow is truncated resulting in the loss of the catchplate.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, double pierced lug, Harlow type brooch dating to 43-70 AD. This has a double pieced lug on the rear of the head for the spring and external cord (both are now missing). The wings have a convex face with two recessed lines on the face. The front of the bow is also is decorated with a central recessed band that run down its length to the pointed foot, in the centre of the band ins a raised zigzag pattern. The catch plate on the reverse is complete.

Copper alloy developed T-shaped of Hull T127; Colchester derivative hinged brooch that has tubular wings which hold the pin axes bar, there is a slot in the centre rear of the wings for the pin, only the top of the pin is complete. Remains of a loop surmounts the top of the brooch; below the bow is otherwise undecorated except for a moulded lozenge panel at the apex that contains two opposing triangular cells, below the remained of the brooch is truncated. Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill, Western Group of Mackreth 2011, Chap. 3, Part 3, Grp 5.c. This has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axis bar which is missing resulting in the loss of the spring and pin. Three vertical ridges decorate the front of the wings. A loop at the top of the head would have held the external cord of the spring. Treasure case 2019 T227: Disclaimed, returned to finder
Description: A group of two silver coins, found together.
Both coins are official issues of shillings coined at the London mint. The first is of James II dating to 1685. The second is of William III and was issued in 1696. This latter coin has a minor bend to the left of the bust.
Discussion: The two coins were discovered next to and touching each other in the ground by a metal detectorist. Both coins are of the same denomination and show a similar degree of wear on their faces. This abrasion is limited enough to …

A copper-alloy uniface coin weight for the "masse d'or" of Philippe IV of France (AD 1268-1314), dating to AD 1296-1310.
The weight is a thick copper-alloy disc, the top engraved with a seated figure wearing long robes and a crown his right hand is held an upright sceptre while the left hand is held in front of his chest with his index finger raise up slightly. His legs are flanked by trefoils that are most likely elements of the chair he is sitting on. This is surrounded by the inscription BERTELIn LOM.BART in roman letters except for the N which is Lombardic.

This is a copper-alloy Roman strap-mounted terret. The terret is undecorated and consists of a large circular loop, 38mm diameter and 28mm internal diameter with a thickness of 7mm. On the lower edge is an integrally cast rectangular lower loop, measuring 23mm long 15mm internally, 12mm deep, 9mm internally.
This terret ring is very similar to an example from the Romano-British settlement at Hacheston (Plouviez 2004, 128-129, fig 89, no 228)

Copper alloy D-shape buckle that has a complex moulded frame. The front of the buckle is expanded to form a sub-triangular panel that has a moulded animal head on the top with hollowed circular ears, lentoid eyes below and a triangular snout forming the forward edge. Flanking this and forming the curving sides of the buckle is an arching beast on each side that face back towards the strap bar. A fragment of a copper alloy penannular buckle that is late roman in date. The lower bow, foot and catchplate only of a Roman trumpet brooch of the 1st or 2nd century AD. The broken bow has a moulding at the centre that would have been at the apex of the bow. The moulding does not extend to rear surface. It retains traces of a white metal coating.
