A fragment from a copper-alloy socketed axehead of Bronze Age date. Only the socket end of the axe remains, and it has post-depositional damage. It is broadly trapezoidal in shape, and is hollow. At the socket end the rim in thickened. Along one outer edge is the remains of a longitudinal casting seam.There is a similar example recorded on the PAS database (SF-CA59D7). This socket measures 43.02mm in length, 47.15mm in width, 4.77m in thickness, 47.86g in weight.

Two small fragments of a spearhead of possible Middle Bronze Age date. The fragments adhere to one another, although a small area remains missing between the two fragments comprising the cutting edge. A distinct mid-rib runs through the fragments, emphasising their flattened outer flanges which do not show signs of channelling. The cutting edge around the full circumference is worn and damaged. The butt is entirely missing and while the tip fragment appears smooth, there is very likely a further fragment missing comprising the sharp tip for entry to the prey or victim. The fragments to…

The ventral face bears concentric ripples and the dorsal face has a longitudinal ridge along the axis; it shows traces of previous knapping. An incomplete worked flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of Bronze Age date (c.1500-1100 BC). The object is triangular in plan with two notches in the base between the central tang and a barb to either side. One of these barbs is almost completely missing and the other is broken across the end. It is formed from a tertiary flake of translucent grey-brown flint which is bifacially worked with covering, scaled, low angle removals.  Measurements: Length: 21.6mm; Width: 17.8mm; Thickness: 3.1mm; Weight: 0.95g.

Late Bronze Age gold pendant: one end of a slightly bent round-sectioned shank has been hammered into a D-sectioned loop, while the other expands into a conical terminal on which another object may have swivelled. Formerly described as probably Roman, it has been reassigned, by Caroline Barton and Ben Roberts of the British Museum, to the Late Bronze Age on the basis of its similarity to a copper alloy example in the Boughton Malherbe (Kent) hoard (PAS KENT-15A293). Length 34mm. Width of loop 5.5mm. Diameter of shank 2 - 1.5mm. Diameter of terminal 3mm. Weight 1.89g. 9th century BC.

A copper alloy short flanged palstave axe dating to the late Early to early Middle Bronze Age.  The axe has a wide curved blade that is bevel on both sides of the forward edge.
