A rim and body fragment of a small prehistoric hand made carinated cup made from an undecorated late Bronze Age to early Iron Age handmade fineware of the Post-Deverel-Rimbury 'Plainware' group. The fabric is reduced dark grey throughout, with infrequent angular calcined flint inclusions and the interior and exterior surfaces are burnished. The exterior is undecorated with a pronounced carination and the rim is plain, with an original diameter of around 80mm.

A sherd of a ceramic Vessel of late Medieval to Post-Medieval date (AD 1500-1700). Glazed red earthen ware. The object is a partial rim sherd. The fabric is hard with sparse dark mica inclusions. The fabric is buff/orange in colour. The upper and lower surfaces retain orange slip and the inner surface retains a minor amount of thick brown glaze. A fragment of a pedestal base from a large Roman vessel, possibly a flagon or a flat-bottomed amphora (cf. Gauloise 4 type). The fabric is buff coloured, hard fired and sandy with abundant mica. The sides are 11mm thick and the vessel would have been fairly robust. The base pedestal has a flat bottom and is 68mm in diameter. Circa 1st-3rd century AD.

The base is flat and around 88mm in diameter. The exterior surface has been burnished.

A rim sherd made from a shell-tempered handmade coarseware, probably in the Deverel Rimbury tradition and of middle Bronze Age (c. 1500-1000 BC). The fabric is a reduced dark grey-black, friable and tempered with abundant coarse and poorly sorted sub angular calcined shell inclusions. The rim had an original diameter around 350mm and is decorated with indentations. The exterior surface has no visible decoration.

The fabric is reduced dark grey to black with a coarse sand temper and abundant mica. The rim is plain and was originally around 160mm in diameter. There is no decoration to the surface, but thumb impressions from the potter are evident around the interior side.
