A ceramic Roman tessera dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The tessera is sub-cuboidal in shape and made from a coarse red-orange fabric with orange-grey upper and lower faces and badly sorted irregular inclusions. The upper surface is smooth while the lower surface is uneven. The tessera measures 22.57mm in height, 26.34mm maximum width, 16.51mm minimum width and weighs 19.11g.
