A ceramic sherd from the rim of a Medieval vessel, dating from about AD 1100 - 1500. The fabric is hard, irregular and buff coloured throughout. It has frequent quartz inclusions that break the surface. The rim is square, forming an external flange, and has a slight lip forming a seating for a lid. A fragment of a ceramic artefact, probably a stove tile, of Post-Medieval date, about AD 1550 - 1600. It has one incomplete original edge and three broken edges. The original edge and part of the face is glazed. There is a white slip covered with a copper glaze. The fabric is hard, fine and pale orange, dark red on the unglazed part of the outer face. There are frequent, small, angular heterogeneous inclusions. It is 51.2mm long, 37.8mm wide and 12.5mm thick. It weighs 20g. Compare LON-63B5F9 for more information.

An incomplete moulded clay tobacco pipe, of Post Medieval date, about AD 1600 - 1680. It is a bowl fragment which has a heel. It has been moulded from a white clay imported from the South West UK. The rim is cut and a band of moulded milling which extends over half of the way round. The surface has only been partially burnished leaving a textured, orange peel like surface. A rim sherd of a ceramic vessel, probably Black Burnished ware of Roman date, AD 43 - 410. It is a rim sherd from a bowl with a dropped flange. The fabric is relatively fine grained, hard and dark grey throughout. It has a very dark grey slip on the exterior surface although the interior has been left plain and coarse. The base is buff on the outer face, and has a grey core and inner surface. It is hard and has an irregular texture. There are frequent well sorted angular quartz inclusions. An incomplete clay tobacco pipe of post-medieval date, from around AD 1750 - 1900. It comprises most of the bowl of the pipe, with a small section of the rim missing.There is a spur, but the stem is missing. A fragment from a probably Roman greyware ceramic vessel dating from AD 43 - 410. The fragment is a rim sherd. The fabric is irregular, hard, grey in the core fading to pale orange on the surfaces. It has fairly frequent, poorly sorted quartz, grit and black inclusions which break the surface of the vessel.
