A Medieval copper-alloy strap end (c.AD 1200-1400). The strap end is sub-rectangular in shape with an angled end shape which tapers to a rounded and pointed end. A rivet is still in situ at the top of the strap end connecting the two sides together and some fabric/cloth remains in between the two sides of the sheet of metal which is a light brown colour with evidence of textile fibres. It has a light green smooth patina. Dimensions - Width: 15.16, Length: 30.81, Thickness: 3.7, Weight: 3.7.
