Complete medieval copper-alloy one-piece book fastening of Howsam’s (2016) type A.9.2. It consists of a flat rectangular and hollow plate (or box), open at the attachment end to receive the strap, and a lonzengiform quatrefoil boss projecting from the opposite end followed by a zoomorphic (animal-headed) looped terminal with a separate ring attached. There is a circular hole on the underside of the boss to fit onto a peg mounted on the book cover. Book clasp of Howsam's type A.3, probably 15th or 16th century, now slightly bent. It is made from two sheets of copper alloy, a front sheet with flared end and hook, and a shorter rectangular backplate, joined by a copper-alloy rivet. The front plate is mainly 9.1m wide, the flared end broken across a rivet hole which is surrounded by a groove. There is decoration of neat transverse grooves, perhaps in pairs, now hard to see; other decoration may now have vanished. The hook is 3.6mm wide. Length 44.0mm, maximum width 10.7mm, thickness of front plate 0.7mm, weight 2.4g.

A decorative post medieval lead alloy moulding, probably part of a fitting or mount from a piece of furniture such as a mirror. The front of the fitting is flared and triangular, moulded in high relief in the form of an acanthus. The reverse is slightly curved and has a curved channel running across the lower width and another channel running up the centre for attachment to a frame of some kind.
