A complete copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting or belt hook, of Post Medieval dating dating (1500 to 1600 AD). It is S shaped with an oval cross section. A zoomorphic or animal head terminal is present at both ends, with a rounded nose, and circular eye. At the centre of the S is a 'waisted' area comprising a central flower design, with leaves pointing away on both sides. The fragment consists of the terminal and a small part of the hook from a sword-belt fitting or similar Post-Medieval hooked strap fitting. The terminal is oval and decorated with a zoomorphic design in the form of a forward facing animal head. The reverse of the terminal is flat and undecorated. Projecting from one end of the terminal is a small portion of the hook which curves around towards the back. This hook terminates in a worn break. Copper alloy bar mount that has a D-shaped cross-section. There is a rivet hole at either end that still retain the copper alloy pin rivet, who’s head is flush with the bar. A complete copper alloy Strap Fitting of Post Medieval date (AD 1550-1750). The object is a zoomorphic belt hook and is S shaped with an oval cross section. A zoomorphic or animal head terminal is present at either end, depicting a dragon or serpent's head with a brow ridge and crest, pointed nose and open jaw, an oval eye is also visible. At the centre of the S is a 'waisted' area comprising a central flower design, consisting of a moulded collar with three knops, flanked by grooves and leaves from either side.

Post Medieval (mid 16th to 18th centuries) strap mount: The copper alloy strap mount is an incomplete sub-drop shape. Towards the lower edge of the mount there is an obliquely angled break. The break is not recent. The outer face has a moulded design which appears to be the helmet from a Post Medieval suit of armour with two swords folding a saltire behind.
