A Medieval cast copper alloy hooked strap fitting comprising a bar mount with an (incomplete) hooked terminal. The bar is D-sectioned with moulded ribs, a pierced convex central boss and two rounded terminals, one of which is drilled for a rivet. The hook possibly once held a pendant loop to attach small items or a purse to the belt. Circa 13th - 14th century.

A complete Post Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, dating to c. AD 1600-1700. It is a flat, oval plate, shallow plano convex in cross section, with a small round ended lug at one end and a rectangular, rectangular section, 'eye' at the other. The lug shows three transverse grooves leaving two rectilinear ridges and the eye, similarly has two such grooves and a single ridge or collar at the junction with the plate. A Medieval cast copper alloy zoomorphic mount or belt-fitting with an open rectangular central plate with sloping sides. At either end are projecting terminals drilled for copper alloy rivets, which are retained. One terminal is in the form of a pair of addorsed bird heads, the other is in the form of a bird's tail, with five incised grooves delineating feathers which have rounded tips. The sides of the mount around the central opening are moulded into the shape of folded wings and decorated with oblique incised lines to represent feathers.

A cast copper alloy strap slide of post Medieval date. The plate is triangular with a wide trefoil terminal and a smaller bifid terminal at the narrow end. The plate has moulded foliate decoration with the whole being cast in the form of an acanthus or vine leaf. The reverse is flat with two incomplete integrally cast lugs which originally folded around to overlap in the centre and form a square strap loop.

A complete Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy hooked strap fitting/belt hook (c. 1400-1600). The object is U shaped with, at one end, a rectangular loop and at the other an L-shaped hooked projection with has incised cross hatching along the back and, at the base, a rectangular escutcheon with an incised saltire. On other examples these elements are more fully realised into a zoomorphic representation of a horse's head with a long neck and a shield at the base.

A complete copper alloy swivel strap fitting, probably from a harness, dating to the Medieval period, c. AD 1100-1300. The object consists of two loops, which are attached together by a central lug. The larger loop is trapezoidal and has a hole in the shorter side, through which the lug extends. The smaller loop is circular and has the lug attached.
