Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, a bar-mount with central and terminal lobes, similar in form to Egan and Pritchard 1991, nos. 1154 and 1158. Rivet hole with copper alloy rivet (length 6mm and 5mm) in both of the terminal lobes, which are countersunk on the reverse. There is a circular aperture in the central lobe. Length 32mm. Width 8.5mm. 2.5mm thick. Mid 12th - 14th century.

Incomplete medieval copper alloy composite folding clasp, deep cut-sheet rectangular frame (length 15mm, width 16mm), separate narrow copper alloy bar with folding end (length 10.5mm, width 15.5mm), decorated with two incised saltires within bordering lines and short transverse lines on fold. The frame is recessed for the missing plate. See Egan and Pritchard 1991, fig.78, nos. 564-6. Later 13th-14th century.

Medieval (c.1200-1400) strap fitting; bar mount. The copper alloy bar mount has an elongated sub-droplet arm with a bulbous upper terminal with a broken edge. The lower terminal has an integral quatrefoil frame with a small knop on the exterior in each corner. In profile it is slightly curved being convex on the exterior face and concave on the reverse. The loop is sub-circular, with a sub-circular cross section, at its narrowest at the apex, 2.6mm in diameter, from which point it thickens into a pair of worn collars accentuated by lateral grooves.
