Probable Roman (mid 1st to 3rd century) mount: the copper alloy mount is incomplete or fragmentary. The body of the mount is an oval shape with a truncated and broken terminal, and at the opposite edge there is a integral sub-rectangular plate. The plate is decorated with fine transverse grooves which have been interupted by a circular perforation or cell. On the reverse thiscircular perforation or cell has a stud protruding. A Roman copper-alloy mount, dating to circa AD 43 - 410.  A broadly circular mount with decoration and enamel inlay on the front face.The design consists of a central square that is slightly recessed with a coloured border. A complete copper alloy Mount of Medieval date (AD 1200-1450). The object is composed of a lozenge shaped plate with a rectangular cross section. within the central upper portion of the object are two, circular perforations. The front of the object has some shallow incised linear motifs which are largely obscured by abrasion. The back of the object is slightly concave and undecorated. A complete copper alloy post medieval openwork mount or fitting dating to the c. 17th Century AD. There is a central circular hoop, projecting out from this are four tear shaped hoops, joined by a large circular hoop running around the whole of the fitting. It has a dark green patina, and measures 57.8mm by 60.6mm, 2.0mm in thickness and weighs 12.39g.  It is possibly part of a harness fitting or furniture mount, similar to SUR-3D8CAA,WILT-3FE41D and  KENT-8BF1D1.
