A post-medieval mount, dating to circa AD 1500-1800.  The object is oval in form, convex on the front and concave on the reverse. On the reverse is an integral spike which projects to a point. The object has a green coloured surface patina.  The mount measures 21.8 mm long and 11.3 mm wide. It is 7.6 mm in thickness. It weighs 2.3 grams.  Strap fittings have been in use from the late Medieval to Post Medieval period. A complete copper alloy zoomorphic mount, stud or strap fitting of probable medieval to post medieval dating circa (AD 1200 to 1500). The object is in the shape of an animal head, perhaps a fox, wolf or bear and is broadly circular on the body. The front face of the mount is convex and the rear is flat. A fragment of a post-medieval cast copper-alloy sword belt hanger plate mount, dating to c.1550-1700. Flat plate with a trefoil terminal at one end, drilled in the centre for a fixing rivet, with an old break at the base. There is incised line foliate decoration on the face. The reverse is plain and the surface displays a brown patina. It comprises two rectangular sheet plates, joined by a flush copper alloy rivet at each end, leaving a gap between the plates of 2.25mm for the missing strap. It is 16.9mm long, 6.7mm wide and 3.8mm thick. The surviving part is a shell shaped or perhaps a septfoil terminal, that is convex on the outer face and hollow behind. A Roman case copper-alloy mount, harness fitting or vessel attachment. It consists of an arched rectangular shaped and sectiond bar broken at each end. On the inside edge of the surface are two concentric grooves. Extending from the mid point of the same edge is an integral pelat-shaped plate that is D-shaped in cross-section and has a hollow interiror. The patina across the object is dark grey in colour. The object measures 33.3mm long, 24.9mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 5.12 grams.

Probably die-stamped disc with a broad border or rim bearing a series of juxtaposed rhomboids encloses a field of finely-defined herringbone lines, all similarly oriented. An oval central hole was perhaps enlarged to this form by the rough removal of an object fastened here; about one third is lost to a ragged tear. Alternatively perhaps inset into a flat surface.
