An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative hinged brooch dating to c.AD 43-120. The tubular wings enclose an axis bar, with a rectangular slot in the centre for the pin; only a stub of the pin survived. The wings are decorated with circumferential grooves at both caps and a pair of oblique grooves extending from the cap to the pin slot. An incomplete cast copper-alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) small long brooch dating to c.AD 450-550. Penn and Brugmann (2007) Sm2 or Sm3. Only the headplate and part of the bow has survived. The headplate comprises a trefoil head with three projecting sub-rectangular lobes with semi-circular cut aways at each angle. The bow springs from the headplate; it has a D cross-section and is decorated on the convex side with oblique indentations where the bow meets the headplate, creating a trapezoidal block at the upper portion of the bow. An incomplete cast copper-alloy disc brooch of Early-Medieval date. It is missing a small part of the plate and pin due to old breaks. The brooch has a flat circular plate with openwork and moulded decoration, although corroded. This comprises a central cross-shaped motif with central lozenge shaped panel and circular perforations in each quadrant. At the centre of the lozenge is a slightly raised conical boss. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman (British) plate brooch dating to the late 1st-mid-3rd century century AD (c. AD 80-250).  The brooch is almost complete, with part of the pin missing. It is a circular flat disc decorated on one side with a multi-angled polygon, however, the corrosion and dirt conceals the decoration. Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill dating AD 75-200. It has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axes bar, but one wing is truncated resulting in the loss of the axe bar, spring and pin. The head of the bow has a tapering triangular panel with expanded shoulders. In the centre of the head is a crest with a loop at the back that would have held the external cord of the spring. the remainder of the bow is undecorated and the catch plate on the reverse is complete.

An early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast copper alloy saucer brooch, dating to c. AD.450-550. The front of the brooch is dished, with an angular and upturned rim around; this is incomplete on one side. The front of the brooch is decorated with a five pointed star pattern formed by double-ridged concave arcs enclosed by an engraved concentric line around a small central boss. There is no trace of gilding. The reverse has an in-line hinge lug and catchplate. There is extensive deposition of iron corrosion products around the hinge lug from a now lost iron spring and pin.
