Two rim sherds, possibly from the same vessel, made from a flint-tempered late Bronze Age to early Iron Age handmade coarseware of the Post-Deverel-Rimbury 'Plainware' group dating prior to 800 BC. The fabric is a reduced dark grey-black, friable and tempered with abundant coarse and poorly sorted sub angular calcined flint inclusions. The rim is rounded, 18.4mm thick with an original diameter of around 350mm. The sides are undecorated.

A rim sherd from a flint-tempered late Bronze Age to early Iron Age handmade coarseware carinated bowl of the Post-Deverel-Rimbury 'Plainware' group dating prior to 800 BC. The fabric is a reduced dark grey-black and tempered with abundant fine sand and infrequent sub angular calcined flint inclusions. The rim is slightly everted with a flat upper surface and had an original diameter of around 330mm. The sides are undecorated with a pronounced carination and thin slightly up towards the rim.

A base sherd from a flint-tempered late Bronze Age to early Iron Age handmade coarseware bowl of the Post-Deverel-Rimbury 'Plainware' group dating prior to 800 BC. The fabric is a reduced dark grey-black and tempered with sub angular calcined flint inclusions. The base is flat with original diameter around 120mm and has a rounded break at the centre which may represent an intentionally drilled hole (c. 15.5mm in diameter). From the base the sides flare outward and are around 9mm thick. There is no decoration.

A small incomplete salt-glazed stoneware vessel, with a flat pedestal base of 36.8mm diameter and one remaining side which rises to a simple rim decorated with a circuit of brown dots. On opposite sides of the vessel are the bases of small handles, now mostly lost. Possibly an eggcup and circa 16th to 17th century.

A handle from a Roman jug or small amphora. The fabric is hard fired and sandy, oxidised reddish brown to buff coloured, with fine sand inclusions. The handle is 27.3mm wide with a rounded sub rectangular cross section and has a pair of parallel grooves running down the outside.

The exterior is burnished with a band of combed five-line decoration over a pair of parallel circumferential grooves defining a low cordon.

The fabric is hard fired and sandy, the surface is oxidised reddish grey, with a reduced grey core. There is combed or incised triple line zig-zag decoration in a band around the shoulder of the jar. The original rim diameter was around 160mm.

An incomplete lid from a Post Medieval Surrey Hampshire border ware, 'encrusted ware' vessel dating from the AD1620-1650. A base sherd from a large post medieval salt-glazed stoneware jug, possibly of Cologne or Frechen ware. The fabric is hard fired and reduced grey throughout, with a brown-streaked glaze on the exterior. The vessel has a partial basal ring which would have been around 150mm in diameter and has thumb print indentations around the inside edge. The inner surface of the base is convex with a brown speckled glaze.

An incomplete (approx 1/4) Post Medieval ceramic delftware bichrome tin glazed wall tile dating to AD 1680-1750. Probably made in London. The tile is decorated with a central scene in blue and white depicting a castle or other building with a lake in front and a swan on the lake. Around this is a triple-line border with concave corner panels containing a floral motif. The reverse of the tile is unglazed.
