An incomplete post medieval Dutch 2 stuivers dating from AD 1702-1793.  Obverse showing shield with floral crown above and divided mark of value 2 S on either side. Reverse bearing the inscription HOL LAN DIA in three lines with date (now missing) below.  Approximately 50% of the coin is now missing and it is irregularly broken, suggesting unintentional post depositional damage.  Measurements: 14.7mm diameter, weight 0.55g.

There is a castelated 'M' on the obverse above ZEELANDIA which denotes the mint of Middelburg which was the capital of the provence of Zeeland. On the reverse are the number and letter, '2' and 'S', either side of the lion, referring to two stuivers. Measurements: Diameter, 21.34mm; Thickness, 0.53mm; Weight, 1.05g

A post medieval silver coin dating to 1678. The coin is a two stuiver piece, minted in Kampen, the Netherlands. The obverse depicts a lion advancing left in between a '2' and 'S'. The 'S' stands for 'Stivers'. The reverse of the coin reads 'CAM/PEN/1678'. The coin is very worn, abraded, and clipped. A similar coin has been recorded on the PAS database, see record DEV-C487A3.
