A long flint flake possibly utilised as a blade of late Mesolithic to early Neolithic date, c.8000 - 3300 BC. Description: The blade is formed from a long narrow tertiary flake, which has snapped off at the distal end with an old patinated break and a hinge fracture at the proximal end. It is broadly triangular in cross-section with a slightly concave ventral surface. The bulb of percussion is very low with slight, shallow conchoidal rippling suggesting the use of a soft hammer. A fragment of Post Medieval stone pillar capital, dating to c. AD 1550-1700. The find part of a circular ribbed capital with a flat base.  Above the ribbing is a circular band and at the top of the capital there appears to be a layer of cement with a small, flat sherd of slate which has become stuck in the mixture. Towards the centre of the capital, the stone steps down to the remains of a semi-circular ledge, and down again to a narrower ledge. An incomplete post medieval lead alloy alnage cloth seal from the reign of George I (AD 1714-1727) dating AD 1714-1727. Two of the original four discs remain, joined by a folded connecting strip. One disc bears the right facing bust of George I in stamped relief with legend reading: [...] REX, contained within a beaded border of short rays. A worn and incomplete Post-Medieval (17th century) cast one-piece circular copper-alloy button, 23.4mm in diameter. The button is decorated with an engraved eight arm spiral, with annulets at the ends of alternate arms and a small dot-in-annulet at the centre. There is a linear border around the rim. The reverse is flat with a stump of a integrally cast drilled sub rectangular shank. Cf. Read (2005) page 34, number 117.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Hod Hill type (Cf. Mackreth 2011, Chapter 6, Part 2 Hod Hill 4.b.2, Plate 93), missing the head, pin and the front portion of the bow. The brooch has a subrectangular plate on the bow with four(?) moulded parallel ridges with a pair of transverse ridged collars at the junction to the foot, which is undecorated and tapers to a point with a small knop with a triangular catchplate on the underside. The surface has traces of a white metal coating. Circa mid 1st century AD.
