Probably SAEC FEL P M TR P XI IMP VII COS V P P S C reverse type, depicting Victory, winged, draped, standing right, left foot set on helmet, inscribing VO DE on shield set on palm, but all the legend is missing. The edge of the coin is abraded revealing red metal beneath the patina. Probably RIC III Commodus 482, mint of Rome. The coin is heavily corroded and worn; thus it is not possible to read any inscription on either face but the bust on the obverse has similarities to busts of Commodus as seen on other examples. The reverse type depicts Genius standing, facing left, sacrificing from a patera over an altar and holding a cornucopia. Rome mint. Reference: RIC volume 3, number 227. There are some edge chips to the flan between 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock on the obverse. The coin is otherwise in VF condition. It is 18mm in diameter and 1.8mm thick. It weighs 2.1gm.
