Description: small copper-alloy penannular brooch with cast hoop of circular cross-section and tinned spatulate terminals. The pin-head is barrel moulded, of a type found on fifth- and sixth-century penannular brooches such as the example from Porth Dafarch, Anglesey. The hoop is decorated with four groups of fine ribbing (two at the junction with the terminals). A near complete cast copper alloy and iron sprung Birdlip type brooch of Late Iron Age to Early Roman date (c. 30-60 AD). The brooch is undoubtedly of Birdlip Type but is not well paralleled in Mackreth (2011) and appears to lack the typical upturned “beak/tongue”. A fragment of copper alloy and enamel zoomorphic vessel mount of probable late Iron Age to early Roman date (c. 50 BC to 100 AD). The object is zoomorphic, cast in the form of the stylised head of a beast with the lower jaw cut away in order to fit onto a vessel rim. The head is 21.3mm long, 12.1mm thick and 12.3mm wide, with an 8.4mm long snout with a flared, flat tip similar to a pig or boar. The lower 6.8mm of the jaw is cut out to a dept of c. 3.2mm. An incomplete copper alloy and white metal probable button of Post Medieval date (c. AD 1700-1800). The button is circular in plan, with a central 14.8mm diameter domed boss in the centre, with a flat circular rim 1.1mm thick. The reverse of the button is undecorated and flat with a mass of probable solder in the hollow of the boss. The front of the button is decorated with three concentric rings of repeated punch decoration on the rim, using at least two different punches. An incomplete clipped, worn and damaged half real coin of Ferdinand V and Isabella I of Spain from the reign of the Reyes Catolicos (1469-1504), Likely issued between 1475 and 1504. The coin is heavily worn, cracked and bent. Uncertain mint, though the mark appears to be an A above a grid, possibly representing a portcullis or a griddle. A toy watch made from a copper or tin alloy (pewter or spelter). It is circular with cast details including a pair of hands (set to about 13:52) and the numerals, which are retrograde. The back of the is decorated with concentric ridges. Originally the watch would probably have had a glass cover (see LANCUM-85C3B5 and WMID-CAF788). Circa 19th or early 20th century. The watch falls broadly into Forsyth and Egan's Type 12 (Forsyth and Egan, 2005, pages 380 to 383).
