The cast mace-head is near-complete (with a surviving length of 72.0mm and a weight of 131.4g). The base of the socket is missing and there is no surviving collar. The fragmentary cast axe is represented by a blade fragment only (with a surviving length of 25.4mm, a maximum thickness of 11.5mm and a weight of 42.6g). The buckle is of ‘Locking’ type and is complete but has a distorted arm (with an overall length of 27.8mm and a weight of 8.6g). The frame is rectangular (27.5mm long and 17.0mm wide). An incomplete zoomorphic copper alloy knife handle terminal of probable Roman date (AD 43-410). The object depicts some billed creature, most likely a duck. The neck is ovoid in cross section at its narrowest point (8.9mm long, 8.5mm wide) and expands forwards at the basal break. An incomplete cast copper alloy flat pointed oval seal matrix of Medieval date (likely 13th to 14th century). The seal matrix is flat, pointed oval in plan with a broken lug projecting above the top point of the die from the back of the matrix. The reverse of the matrix is undecorated and flat the surface covered by a mottled patina and patches of copper alloy corrosion. The matrix is 2.5mm thick from the die to the reverse and 4.6mm thick at the lug.

An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch (Colchester derivative hinged class) of Roman date (c. 43-120). The brooch is near complete, missing only the pin and small parts of the wings and foot.
The wings are cylindrical on the reverse, housing the separate copper alloy axis bar, with a slightly off-centre rectangular slot that would have housed the now missing hinged pin. The front of the wings are a rectangular and wider than the cylindrical pin housing (7.1mm to 6.1mm), which obscures the housing from frontal view. A small corroded fragment of copper alloy, possibly part of an openwork strap end of Early Medieval date. The object is flattened in cross section. It consists of a roughly shield shaped terminal that bifurcates into two broken projections from its top. One of these is c.8.5mm long, while the other is broken at its base. There is a cross design incised off centre on the upper surface of the terminal, while the reverse is undecorated and slightly flattened. The original surface is lost to corrosion, and the object has a dark green pitted surface as a result.
