An incomplete Roman copper-alloy pin, dating to c.AD 43 - 410. The head of the pin is globular and then divided into three segments below. Each of the segments are rectangular and separated by narrow waists, each of rectangular segments have three flanked moulded ridges. The remainder of the pin conists of the shaft, it is cylindrical.

A near complete but bent cast copper alloy pin of Roman date c. AD 41 - 410.
The pin is made of a circular (2.4mm diameter) cross sectioned shaft that has a slightly pointed tip and a slight waisting possibly from corrosion along its length. The shaft is bent over 110 degrees at its middle. The head of the brooch is domed and then divided into three segments. The first being a narrow waist flanked by raised collars, the second being slightly more bulbous and the third also having a narrow waist flanked by collars. It has a medium green patina.

An extremely corroded copper alloy object with a cylindrical terminal (4.9mm diameter) at one end of a constriction to an ovoid lobe which tapers to a bend and a point, probably an old break. The original surface is almost entirely lost and no decoration can be made out. Possibly a terminal from a hair pin of Roman date.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin of Roman date (c.250-410).
Description: The pin has a globular head with damage to the apex making it now appear conical, and circular-sectioned shaft, 27mm of which survives. Between the shaft and the head is a flattened circular-section bead and spool, possibly hexagonal in section. The pin has medium green and grey green patina.

An incomplete copper alloy pin of probable Roman date c.43-410 AD.
The pin has a hemispherical head with a bevelled underside and no collar. The shaft of the pin is sub-circular in cross-section and tapers slightly over its 5.2mm length before terminating in an old break. It has a slight contraction also just before the pin head. Just before the break the pin is flattened on both sides to form a soft triangular point almost as if it has been cut by pressure from two sides.

The stem of the pin is circular in cross section; it projects straight down below the head, where it has been bent in a U-shape and bends upwards to extend above the head, tapering to the end where it terminates in a break. An incomplete copper alloy pin of probable Roman to Early Medieval date, c.AD 43-900.
The pin has a conical head, no collar, and a thin shaft. It is undecorated, but fairly worn and the shaft terminates in a worn break.
Measurements: the pin measures 39.02mm in length, 10.39mm in diameter at the top of the head, 3.93mm in diameter at the shaft. The weight of the pin is 4.01g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pinhead of probable Roman date (c.AD 43-410). The pin is comprised of the head and a fragment of the shaft (overall height 13.0mm). The head is globular, flat on the bottom, with four intersecting incised grooves forming a flower or star decoration (external diameter 6.7mm, height 3.2mm). The shank is circular in section (diameter 3.0mm, 9.2mm long) and terminates in a transverse break.
The object has a dark green patina and weighs 1.24g.

The object is composed of an upper central bead with a waisted fluted section and a double, conical collar below which is an expanded collar and a second conical collar, below which extends a circular sectioned, tapered shaft. The object is a Crummy Type 2 and is a hair pin composed of cylindrical apex with flat top that is waisted and followed by a further cylindrical section. Below this is a bulbous collar, below which tapers into the remaining portion of the circular sectioned shaft. The shaft terminates in an old and abraded break.
