Copper alloy brooch, Hattatt's "bird in flight" type. Damaged catchplate, chain loop, bird head and generally abraded edges; enamel missing. The pin is hinged between two close set lugs behind the tail. The body, wings and tail of the bird are on a flat-based plate. A small chain loop projects from the tail, which has two enamelled cells (now discoloured and largely missing). The wings also have largely empty enamelled cells. A glass rim fragment probably from a Roman prismatic bottle, although from this fragment it is impossible to tell what shaped bottle it was from. The glass is good quality and blue green in colour. The fragment measures 32.47mm in surviving length, 12.17mm in width, weight 5.18g. The rim diameter would have been circa 50mm when complete.

A possibly Roman incomplete copper-alloy probable strap fitting. Consisting of a circular loop, which flares in width towards its base and has an incomplete curvilinear projection at the centre of the base, The other side of this is a curvilinear moulding. It appears to be cast in one and may have functioned as some sort of strap fitting. It measures 18.05mm by 19.48mm externally and 10.6mm by 6.74mm internally.

A fragment of a very worn plate brooch of unbomate type and 2nd century in date. A fragment of the outer edge survives and the rest is missing deut to old breaks, now worn. The fragment measures 19.48mm by 11.39mm in size. Around the edge of the front face there are triangular cells filled with decayed enamel. On the back face a double pin lug survives. Both faces have active powdery green corrosive products visible.

An incomplete Roman possible pin, now bent into a Ushape the shaft has a roughly circular section and one end has decorative transverse grooves incised into it. The inner surface is flatter due to wear, which might suggest that this object is either not a pin but a bracelet or was originally a pin but then reused to create a bracelet. The head has two enamelled panels with semicircle motif - traces of blue enamel survive in the semicircle, yellow in the top triangles, red in the background. Copper alloy brooch, flat hexagonal or disc form with projections. Missing pin, damaged edges, very corroded. The pin was hinged between two close set lugs. The plate is about 1.5mm thick. At the centre is the remains of a rivet in a 1.5mm diameter hole. Around this the surface is raised irregularly, perhaps as the basis for an applique. The outer band is very slightly concave. The outline was probably a circle but the six (originally, now three) small projections have caused it to corrode into a hexagon. The foot and incomplete catchplate of a Roman bow brooch. The bow has a deep central groove, giving it a U-shaped section and shollow grooves bound trasnverse hatching on the top faces each side. The foot terminal is missing. The surviving part of the catchplate is unusual in having light incised decoration on both faces consisting of hatched and open triangles. This foot measures 23.27mm in surviving length and the width across the catchplate is 10.89mm, across the bow is 6.09mm.

A complete cast solid copper-alloy Roman knob with the remains of an iron shaft projecting from its underside which is probably most likely to have functioned as a handle for furniture. The knob is conical in over all shape with a terminal rounded knop, below which there is a circular projecting disc, it then flares towards its base where there is another flat disc. The iron shaft is cylindrical in shape. It measures 24.55mm in length and 9.15mm in width.

a copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment, trumpet type. It is the mid and upper bow only, with a trumpet head 13.7mm in width and a complete spring loop. It has three petal shapes separated y two peltas decorating the upper bow, the central petal with white enamel infill still remaining. There is moulding, consisting of a longitudinal rib, and transverse lines and banding across the entire bow fragment. It measures 30.12mm in length and 5.56mm in width across the bow, weighing 6.76g.
The decoration ressembles that of Hattatt 432.
