Roman copper alloy probable vessel mount in the form of a bird. It measures 22.1x4.8xmax.5mm (not including attachment projection) and weighs 1.77g.
The bird is D-shaped in section, and flat and even on the underside, except for the pointed beak that extends downwards (c.2mm long) and the projection at the centre, which is c.1mm diameter in section and 2.3mm long, and extends from a rectangular area 4.8x2.8x2.3mm.

Fragment of Roman copper alloy necklet (or large armlet). It consists of the hook end (the tip of the hook is broken), which is rectangular in section, and expands into a roughly square-section twisted body. Both breaks are old.
The necklet measures 121.9mm and weighs 33.54g. The hook end measures 4x2.7mm, expanding to 4.7x3.8mm at the start of the body, and expanding again (over 34.7mm) to 7x5.6mm at the start of the twist. There is some iron staining at this point.
The original diameter would have been c.140mm (internal c.120mm). The metal is quite pitted.

Incomplete copper alloy and enamel Roman plate brooch of the equal-ended type with a hinged mechanism, missing its pin shank and most of the enamel. It measures 34mm in length and is max.11.2mm wide. It weighs 2.15g. Both hinge mechanism and catchplate are slightly bent to one side, possibly as a result of being trodden on in ancient times.
At the centre of the bow is a 11.2x12.6mm square, a double rib around a central sunken area 7.6x7.6mm. This has a small amount of white enamel remaining.

Complete copper alloy and enamel Roman zoomorphic brooch in the form of a duck. It is 31.7mm in length (from beak to tail) and max.12.3mm wide (at its breast). It weighs 4.21g.
The body itself is rather flat and does not stand very high, max.2.6mm. It is occupied by four fields of enamel, representing the wings and back (to the tail). The outer two fields (wings) are filled with a blue enamel, the inner two (back/ tail) a white enamel. These fields are an elongated tear-drop shape, one pair being inverted compared to the other.

Roman copper alloy pelta-shaped mount with residue of solder on the reverse. It is D-shaped in section (being flat on the underside) and measures 31.2x22.7x2.6mm and weighs 6.71g.
The central 'arm' is bifurcated. The outer arms are apparantly rounded, one more so than the other which is rather more pointed.
All original patina has been lost and the metal is a greeny/ grey colour.
Pelta shaped mounts are associated with the military and can be given a 4th century date.

Fragment of Roman copper alloy bow brooch, consisting of the lower bow and incomplete catchplate only. The brooch is very worn and most of the original patina is missing.
The fragment measures 44.9mm in length and is very straight in profile. It is 5.4mm wide at the break and 5.4mm wide at the foot. The breaks are old.
The bow is roughly triangular in section, being flat to the reverse. To the front is a mid-rib, from which either side falls away. There appears to be rocker-arm decoration on either side although the surface is very worn. At either long edge is another rib.
