Copper alloy Coin – Nummus, probably of Constantine II (337-340) as Caesar (317-331). Obverse description: Youthful bust diademed right – resembles Constantine on commemorative issues of 320-325. Obverse inscription: CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C Reverse description: Central wreath, with two or three indistinct letters within. Reverse inscription: [DN CONSTANTINI MAX AVG] – all indistinct. Cliff Reeves kindly examined this coin, though suggesting doubt as to its identity. Diameter: 18.43mm, Weight: 3.17gms
