A copper As of Tiberius (AD14-37) minted in Rome in AD 35-36. The coin is somewhat worn and the obverse is struck slightly off-centre. The diameter is 27mm. No weight or other measurement is available because this object was recorded from a photograph kindly provided by the owner. For reference see Sear's "Roman Coins" Vol. 1, number 1771. The condition of the coin suggests that it has not been in the ground for many years. It is probably a coin that has been in a collection and was only lost in the last few hundred years.
