A third century base silver radiate of Probus, c. AD 276 - 282. The obverse shows a radiate, draped and cuirassed bust facing to the left. The bust is draped in a consular robe and is also holding an eagle-tipped sceptre. The obverse inscription reads: IMP PROB - VS PF AVG. The reverse shows Sol in a galloping quadriga, to the left, with the inscription: SOLI INVICTO.
