Nine fourth century ad silver siliquae were found with the aid of a metal detector all within a ½ m x ½ m square on ploughed land at a depth of 12cm, November 2004.
The coins were issued by the following Roman emperors:
AD 360-3: Julian (3 - one from the mint of Lyon; two from the mint of Arles)
AD 364-7: joint rule of Valentinian I & Valens (2 from the mint of Rome)
AD 367-75: joint rule of Valentinian I, Valens & Gratian (2 from the mint of Trier)
AD 375-78/9: joint rule of Valens, Gratian & Valentinian II (1 from the mint of Trier)

Description of Object
Roman silver finger ring of keeled type. Oval hoop, rectangular in section, expands via a sharp carination to triangular shoulders with shallow mouldings and feathered edges. The flat ovular bezel is plain and undecorated.
The oval shaped bezel would have held a setting for a stone or intaglio, but only a ring of soldering remains. The shoulders are triangular and flattened, there with four sets of incised lines that expand from the loop outwards towards the bezel, the edges of the shoulders and bezel are foliate, the loop is thick than the rest of the piece…

Roman silver finger ring. The ring is heavy with an octagon shape and a tapering trapezoid section hoop. The swollen bezel widens to accommodate an oval setting (now missing). Height 21mm, width 26mm, thickness (at bezel) 12mm, weight 9.69g.
A similar example was reported in 2003 under the 1996 Treasure Act, 2003 T406 which was dated to the 3rd century.
