A silver denarius of Septimius Severus (AD 193-211); PART ARAB PART ADIAB COS II PP (captives seated either side of trophy) reverse; minted at Rome, AD 195; RIC no. 63. The coin's surfaces are slightly worn and corroded and there are patches of attached copper corrosion. It has a sub-oval flan measuring 17.8mm in diameter, 1.9mm thick and weighs 1.99g.

Incomplete Roman silver pin of Cool's Group 2, sub-type A (knob-on-cordon head, spherical sub-type). There is an incised diagonal cross or saltire just off centre on the top of the pin head. It is 38.29mm long, the head has a diameter of 6.64mm and is 5.07mm thick. The shaft is 2.57mm in diameter, tapering to 2.29mm at the break. It weighs 2.22 grams. Pins of this form have been found in Roman contexts from the 1st to 4th century AD (Cool 1990, 154). The object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal and is over 300 years old.
