Description Treasure reference 2018 T741: a Roman silver finger ring, probably of Henig Type VIII which dates to the second or third century AD. The ring has a flat sub-rectangular bezel with sloping triangular shoulders. The shoulders taper to form a slender hoop. The bezel is very worn and no inscription or decoration is visible. Treasure reference number 2016 T771: an undecorated silver finger ring, possibly of Roman date. The hoop is circular in plan and D-shaped in section. It is broken across the hoop and slightly distorted. This ring carries no hallmarks, but is of a type that could plausibly of Roman date. The majority of other finds discovered on this field are Roman, but this is no guarantee of date for this particular ring.
