A copper alloy Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a radiate of Allectus (AD 293-6) (Reece Period 14), PROVID AVG, Providentia with baton and cornucopiae, and possibly globe at feet. C Mint. Contemporary copies of the early issues of Carausius are common, but copies of his later issues and of Allectus are very rare. The coin is 24.4mm in diameter, 1.4mm thick and weighs 2.52g.
