A worn and corroded Roman radiate of Carausius (AD 286-93) (Reece Period 14), reverse: PROVID AVG around Providentia standing left holding globe and cornucopiae. Minted at 'C' mint. The obverse bust appears only to be cuirassed. Reference: RIC V part II, p.506, cf 510var. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
