A copper-alloy Q-Radiate of Allectus (AD 293-296) (Reece Period 14), LAETITIA AVG, Galley right with mast, rowers, but no cabin or waves. C Mint, QC. RIC V, pt 2, p. 569, no. 124. The coin has a dark green patina, is slightly worn and encrusted. It measures 18.7mm in diameter, 1.7mm thick and weighs 2.54g. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

A complete Roman copper-alloy radiate of Carausius (AD 286-293) dating to the period AD 286-293 (Reece period 14). MARTI PACIFE reverse type depicting Mars, walking left, holding olive-branch in right hand and spear and shield in left hand. C mint, probably (S?) (P?) // C. . RIC V, pt 2 -. The style of the coin places it in the S P // C, rather than C or S C // C, series. As such, it is a new variety and will be included in Sam Moorhead;s new edition of RIC for Carausius and Allectus.
