An incomplete, copper alloy Roman brooch, possibly a Trumpet brooch, dating AD 75-175. Only the foot, most of the catch plate, and part of the bow survive. The lower bow has a D-shaped cross section and gently tapers from 5.22mm wide near the break at the top to 4.19mm wide just before the start of the foot.
