It is 26mm in diameter and 2.5mm thick. Set into a rectangular lead piece with dimensions 55mm by 45mm with a thickness of 5 to 9mm.  The total weight is 207g. There is possibly another bent disc on the top edge, to the left-hand side. The function of the piece remains a mystery.

The edge of the flan has a waisted notch at 7 O'clock on the obverse, probably from the creation of a pierced hole for suspension, but where the outer edge has broken away.
