An incomplete Roman possible pin, now bent into a Ushape the shaft has a roughly circular section and one end has decorative transverse grooves incised into it. The inner surface is flatter due to wear, which might suggest that this object is either not a pin but a bracelet or was originally a pin but then reused to create a bracelet. It measures c41mm in length and 4.23mm in width.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pin. The head and a fragment of the shank remains. It is in a fair condition. The shank is circular in section, and gradually tapers, almost to a point, but the tip appears to be missing, but this is not a break. The upper portion of the shank is decorated with a transverse fine groove. The pin head is circular in section, is bulbous with a slightly flattened head. The head measures 5.86mm diameter, and the pin is 21.22mm long. It weighs 1.2g. The surface of the pin has a well developed dark green patina. The pin is possibly a Roman pin, probably a h…

Roman copper alloy pin. The pin has a circular cross section and is broken before the tapered point. The surviving terminal has moulded decoration comprised of a flattened hatched area before an ovoid knop with a projecting rectangle on its apex. This rectangle is probably part of a broken, openwork terminal. The surviving length of the pin is 38mm long. Similar to Rodwell 1987 fig 49 no 59

A copper alloy pin which could be Roman, but a later mid-late Anglo-Saxon date cannot be ruled out. The pinhead is complete but the shaft is broken. The entire length of the pin is 22.6mm. The pinhead is oval in shape, with a flattened top, decorated with six notches. The pin head is 6.5mm in diameter. The shaft has a circular section. It is impossible to say how long the shaft was or whether it was a straight shaft, or an L-shaped shaft. The pin is otherwise in a good condition. The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour.

Copper alloy brooch pin, probably dating to the Roman period. The object would have belonged to a brooch using a hinge pin. This is clear from the broken, curved tag which represents the perforation for attachment to the crossbar. The terminal end of the pin is damaged and so probably not complete.

The pinhead is polyhedral in shape, with 13 facets each either triangular or diamond shaped. The head measures 10.5 x 10.1mm. The pinhead looks more elaborate than a normal polyhedral head, which are cube or cuboid shaped with the corners cut off. The shaft has a circular section. It is impossible to say how long the shaft was or whether it was a straight shaft, or an L-shaped shaft. The pin is otherwise in a good condition. The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour.
