Roman copper alloy vessel spout The spout appears to be near-complete (with a weight of 42.5g), suggesting it is from a vessel constructed from composite parts. The component piece is of a sub-triangular form with two convex sides and projecting points at the top corners (producing a width of 52.1mm, a length of 45.8mm and a depth of 30mm). Roman copper alloy vessel lid from a jug, probably of 1st century AD date The jug is represented by the lid, which is heavily-corroded with extensive peripheral corrosion (with a surviving length of 36.6mm, a surviving width of 30.2mm and a weight of 12.9g). The lid was likely to have been of rounded trefoil form and is slightly convex across its length. The lid appears the gradually thickened to its midpoint (with a maximum thickness of 4.3mm). Roman copper alloy vessel foot, probably of 1st to 2nd century AD date The foot is complete but corroded (with a length of 53.8mm, a width of 14.8mm and a weight of 23.2g) and is of pelta shape, with protruding knops near the ends. The foot is of sub-rectangular section (8.2mm thick). The circumference arc of the outside edge would suggest that the vessel had a radius at the base of 45mm.
