A worn copper-alloy Roman sestertius of Marcus Aurelius (AD 161-180), dating to the period c.AD 163-164 (Reece period 8). Reverse: [TR] P XVIII [] / S C, Minerva standing left holding olive branch and leaning on shield, spear resting on her left arm. Mint of Rome. Cf. BMC 1076,1091; cf. RIC 870.
This coin belongs to a group of 23 sestertii recovered from the same findspot and reported as Treasure through the Treasure Act as 2016 T694.
