Parthia kneels to the left in supplication. Mint of Rome. Cf. RIC Vol.II, p.291, pl.XI, fig.194, no.667 (AD 116) See SUR-91AB23 for a similar coin in much better condition.

A copper-alloy cast contemporary copy of a sestertius of Trajan (AD 98-117), dating to the period AD 98-117 (Reece period 5). Illegible reverse type, probably copying a prototype of the mint of Rome. This coin appears to have been cast with the detail of the wreath ties and hair manually engraved on the coin (B. Woytek, pers. comm.).
