A silver denarius of Severus Alexander (AD 222-235), minted AD 222-228; RIC Vol. IV (II), p. 84, no. 178. The coin has an oval flan, is slightly worn, corroded and has adhering copper corrosion. It measures 18.4mm in diameter, 2mm thick and weighs 2.52g.
