An incomplete (damaged) contemporary copy of dupondius or as of Julia Mamaea (AD 193-235), probably dating to the period AD 222-235. Reece period 11. The coin appears to have a lead alloy core and two separate copper alloy obverse and reverse plates. The majority of the obverse legend is missing but the letters V and possibly L are visible. The reverse shows Venus seated left holding a statuette (possibly Cupid) in right and sceptre in left. Possibly RIC IV 702 or 703.
