Contemporary forgery of a denarius of Severus Alexander, silver and copper alloy. It is 16mm in diameter and weighs 2.47g. It has traces of copper alloy corrosion and all surface detail is very weak. Legends are lost. Date: 222-223. See RIC 9 or 28 for prototype.
