Roman glass vessel: 24 sherds from a conical jug with long neck, open base ring and concave base. This type of vessel dates from the late 1st century to the late 2nd century AD. Roman copper alloy Polden Hill booch fragment. The crest of the head is quite rounded and the bow tapers to a point at the end, although no foot remains. The hinged pin, catchplate and pin mechanism are all missing. The brooch is quite corroded all over but it is quite likely that this brooch would have been plain anyway.

Unworked piece of Jet. The piece is roughly trapezoid in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The edges and fractures are very worn and smooth suggesting that it has been a piece collected off the Lincolnshire coast, which lies only a few miles to the east. Although the piece is unworked the field in which it was discovered has also produced evidence for Roman occupation. Since Jet was used as a material for beads and bracelets it was thought best to record this piece incase more evidence arises.
