A worn cast copper-alloy unidentified object of probable Iron Age to Roman date (c.100BC-AD250).
Description: The object consists of an axe-shaped plate, slightly rounded on one side and flat on the other. The shaft is set about half-way along the head. The more rounded side raised ridge running down the centre from the centre of the axe head along most of the length of the shaft. The surface has a grey-green patina.

An incomplete copper alloy object of uncertain function. Possibly Roman to medieval in date (c.AD 43-1400).
The object is a fragment of an object and survives as a short cylindrical rod with an angled stub at one end. Both ends terminate with worn breaks. The object has a smooth bright green patina that is usually indicative of an earlier date, possibly the Roman period.

Probable Roman (mid 1st to 3rd century) cast copper alloy fragment or incomplete unidentified object. In plan the fragment is sub rectangular with only one long edge being the original edge. In profile the object is a curved forming a quarter circle with the original edge forming a flat platform on which to stand. The outer face is undulating and uneven so not sure whether done intentionally or is due to the casting process. Unidentified cast copper alloy object, depicting a three dimensional claw or talon shape, the wide end has two filed flat panes set at just under 90 degrees to each other, no obvious means of attachment, though it is possible solder may have been used; the larger of the two flat areas has a small rough patch to one side, this could be the remains lead-based adhesive, though it lacks the obviously white appearance this usually has. An unidentified object, most likely of Roman date. The object consists of an elongated cone, circular in cross-section, which tapers to a rounded tip, and which has a decorative collar along the base consisting of a narrower upper band which has fine vertical hatching, and a wider lower band which has no decoration other than an incised line following its lower edge. Protruding from the base of the cone is the remains of an iron shank, which is sub-square in cross-section.

A likely incomplete copper alloy unidentified object, possibly a stylus, of probable date c.AD 43-1000.
Description: The object is broadly rectangular in shape and has a sub-square cross-section. The shaft is 7.67 mm wide and narrows at either end to worn and flattened points that are undecorated. The centre of the object has three decorative ridged lines with a wide groove between each. The object is buff brown in colour and is comprised of copper-alloy.
