A fragment of copper alloy Bracelet or Armlet of Roman date (AD 300- 410). The fragment consists of the terminal end of the bracelet. The terminal is decorated with three rounded, raised semi-circular collars, flanked by smaller collars. The fragment then tapers in to an abraded transverse break. The narrowed portion is decorated with three incised chevrons, below which traces of three longitudinal incised line. The internal surface is smooth and undecorated. A fragment of a glass bracelet dating to the Roman period, c. AD 50 - AD 200. Kilbride-Jones type 2. The bracelet is D-shaped in section and blue in colour. At the apex of the curved side a semi-circular groove is present into which a separate strip of glass has been fitted through marvering. The strip is comprised of alternating thick blue and thin white glass cables which have been twisted together to create a twisted rope effect.
